Individual Therapy

I work with adults across a wide range of experiences, concerns, and stages of life. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who may appear functional externally while privately struggling with:

  • anxiety

  • depression

  • relationship difficulties

  • burnout

  • self-criticism

  • emotional disconnection

  • uncertainty about how they want to live and relate to others

Some clients come to therapy during periods of acute stress or crisis, while others arrive with a more longstanding sense that certain emotional patterns, relationships, or ways of coping no longer feel sustainable. Therapy can offer a place to better understand these experiences while developing a deeper sense of emotional clarity, self-awareness, and agency.

My style is engaged, collaborative, and grounded in psychodynamic thinking, meaning we pay attention not only to current symptoms, but also to the underlying emotional patterns and relational experiences that shape them. I aim to create a space that feels thoughtful, direct, and emotionally honest while still adaptable to each individual person’s needs and personality.

Client Fit

I tend to work especially well with adults who are reflective, curious, and motivated to better understand themselves, even if they are unsure where to begin. Many of my clients are balancing significant personal and professional responsibilities while struggling internally with stress, dissatisfaction, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or persistent self-doubt.

I also frequently work with people who feel emotionally “stuck” in some area of life, whether in relationships, career direction, identity, communication, or recurring emotional patterns. Some clients are entering therapy for the first time, while others have had prior therapy experiences and are looking for a more engaged, insight-oriented approach.
